Your puppy will be honestly represented and evaluated as accurately as possible.
Buyer must have the puppy thoroughly examined by a licensed veterinarian (at buyers expense) within seven (7) business days after receiving puppy, and proof of veterinarian visit sent back with the guarantee.
If buyer's veterinarian finds cause for return such as congenital defect Shady Acres
must be notified immediately.
Should the puppy be diagnosed within one year of age by a licensed veterinarian with any congenital/hereditary disorder which is considered by two unassociated veterinarians to seriously impact the quality of life, short of euthanasia, or require continuous medical treatment throughout the course of the puppy's life Shady Acres will upon provision of veterinary reports and the reports must have the AVID microchip number in the report, along with proof of spay or neuter, we will refund half the purchase price of the puppy. Should the quality of life determine that the pup has to be euthanize we will replace the puppy with a new pup of the same gender when one becomes available.

Should the buyer choose to relinquish ownership of the puppy due to a genetic defect to Shady Acres
Kennel, Shady Acres will replace your puppy with another puppy as soon as one becomes
available, the buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping pup back to Shady Acres .
AKC registration paper must be signed back over to Shady Acres and accompany the puppy.
The buyer understands the following slight genetic defects are not considered serious or life threatening and therefore are not covered, Umbilical Hernia, Inguinal Hernia, Demodectic Mange, Cherry Eyes, Eye Entropion, Elongated Soft Palate, Cork Screw Tails, Under Bite, Over Bite and Undescended Testicle.
If your veterinarian states that your pup has loose hips shortly after receiving him or her, you must allow your pup three (3) months time before we will consider this to be congenital. Every veterinarian has a different opinion of how tight a pups hips should be and with this breed it can vary, if after three months your veterinarian feels they are still loose then you will need to get a second opinion.
Veterinarian expenses incurred by the buyer, for any reason will not be Shady Acres responsibility.
AKC papers will be supplied or a copy of the litter application will accompany the puppy.
AKC papers will be mailed as soon as received from the registry.
Size, color and temperament of puppy is not guaranteed. This contract supersedes any and all previous agreements. This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled. By signing this contract, I am stating that I have read and agree to abide by it.
If for some unforeseen circumstances during the lifetime of your dog that was purchased from Shady Acres you are no longer able to care for your dog (such as moving, no pets allowed, allergies, to name
a few) and you can't find your dog a good loving home, please call us, we will gladly take your dog back, you will have to pay for shipping, we have a lot of resources and will be able to place your dog in a loving home, please do not let your dog go to a shelter
